Nagase Tomoya (TOKIO) will be starring in TBS's upcoming drama 'Ore no Ie no Hanashi' starting in January.

The drama's sсript will be written by Kudo Kankuro. Nagase has worked with Kudo in the past TBS dramas 'Ikebukuro West Gate Park' (2000), 'Tiger & Dragon' (2005), and 'Unubore Deka' (2010).

Nagase will play a professional wrestler named 'Miyama Juichi,' who belongs to a small wresting organization. When he learns that his father, a Noh actor, is on his dying bed, he returns home after having no contact with his family in over 20 years. He ends up fighting with his family and a mysterious helper about his father's care and inheritance.

Nagase commented "My feelings towards acting haven't changed since 'IWGP.' This will become my memory as a 42-year-old." Kudo also stated, "No matter how unreasonable the setting is, I know he [Nagase] will make it fun." (c)
